PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

 

Prism Lubricants’ RP-4 Rust Preventative is a solvent-based, water-displacing, non-staining rust and corrosion preventative fluid, which will disperse water from metal surfaces after machining operations, or after alkali cleaning.

 

RP-4 is safely used on ferrous or non-ferrous metals with typical application systems.  With a flash point above 140°F, RP-4 can help meet plant safety requirements.

 

The thin, soft, waxy film provides rust protection up to 1 year outdoors and up to 3 years indoors.  RP-4 Rust Preventing Oil will also provide resistance for a limited period to salt spray.  It can act as a light lubricant and penetrant, too.
